Best Paris Rentals provides apartments for rent in Paris on behalf of owners. The accommodations are displayed on www.bestparisrentals.com website.
The client is the person who makes the booking . The guests are the persons staying with the client in the apartment. The owner is the person that provides the accommodation.

  • Booking confirmation and payment terms.

Best Paris Rentals will send a booking confirmation after the 50% prepayment of the rental has been confirmed. The remaining amount and the damage deposit (200€-1000€) must be paid 20 days before arrival. For each booking that occurs before we will require cash payment upon arrival. The damage deposit is refunded at client’s departure after the owner or his representative has inspected the accommodation.

  • Check in or arrival

Remember, you must phone the owner or his representative to let them know that you are on your way to the apartment. It is unlikely that he or she will be waiting for you if you do not call beforehand!
Always call upon your arrival at the airport or train station, or, if traveling by car, on your approach to the city. You should also call if you are delayed. Please keep the owner or his representative updated to ensure a smooth check-in!
In a nutshell, you pay the outstanding balance on arrival and the keys are all yours!

Check-in before standard check in time :
Sometimes other guests will be checking out of the apartment on the same day that you arrive. To allow for check-out and cleaning, it may not be possible to check-in before the standard check-in time. Please call the apartment manager at least 24 hours before your arrival, to see whether it is possible. If a check-in before standard check-in time is not possible, you may be permitted to leave your luggage and return at the normal check-in time, when the apartment will be ready for you.

  • Your stay and duties :

If something breaks down or goes wrong
Neighbors playing music at high volume ? TV won’t change from the knitting channel ? If something’s bothering you, breaks down or doesn’t work properly during your stay, don’t worry. Just get in touch with he owner or his representative or our customer service so that it can be quickly resolved, glued back together or cleaned. Please, please, please don´t hesitate to do this, we want your stay to be perfect!
Number of guests
No more than the number of guests specified in the booking may stay at the accommodation.
There’s no need to tiptoe around in your socks or communicate in whispers (unless you’re whispering sweet nothings). However, we do ask that you consider your neighbors, just like you would do at home, and keep the noise down, particularly in the evenings and at night. On behalf of the neighbors; thank you for the good nights’ sleep!
Nice behavior
The person that books the apartment needs to make sure that everyone acts responsibly. So for a few days, you’ll be the Big Brother – the responsible one. In case of extreme misbehavior, the owner or his representative has the right to ask people to leave the apartment and any right to compensation might be lost. So we advise you to behave nicely.

The client and his guests must show consideration and respect the neighborhood and avoid noise in the evenings after 10pm the French law is very clear about that !

  • Check out or departure

The accommodation must be cleaned and garbage taken in the appropriated place. The owner or his representative is entitled to charge additional fees (see the signed contract with the owner) if the accommodation is not left as such.

  • Booking changes

In case that the owner cannot provide the booked accommodation and this for any reason, Best Paris Rentals will do its best to find an alternative accommodation, if nothing is available Best Paris Rentals will refund the prepayment paid by the client. But Best Paris Rentals will not be liable for further claims.

  • Cancelling your booking and refund policy.

We perfectly understand that sometimes you may have to cancel a booking. Just make sure to contact our customer service as soon as possible so that we can inform the apartment manager and make all the necessary arrangements. We also offer you the possibility to rebook. And enjoy the same stay, just on different dates.

– 100% of the total rental amount is due to the owner if you cancel more than 30 days before the arrival date
– 50% of the total rental amount is due to the owner if you cancel more than 45 days before the arrival date
– 25% of the total rental amount is due to the owner if you cancel more than 60 days before the arrival date

It is recommended that the client purchases a travel insurance with cancellation cover.
Changing to an other apartment is considered as a cancellation. Therefore it is important to make a new booking.
Changing your booking
If you would like to make a change to your booking, please contact our customer service by phone or email. They will guarantee that everything works out smoothly. Depending on the change, we can either modify the existing booking for you, or cancel and rebook it.
If you want to increase the length of your stay or add more guests, your existing booking will be modified. We will simply calculate how much extra you pay upon arrival. If you want to reduce the length of your stay or the number of guests, you’ll receive a voucher for the difference in the online payment and pay a reduced balance upon arrival.
In the event that your new booking total is less than 50% of the original, this will be considered a cancellation subject to the cancellation policy above. Likewise, if you want to change your apartment, your booking needs to be cancelled and re booked.

Important : All cancellations or changes must be made by email.

  • Liabilities

Best Paris Rentals neither the owner of the accommodation cannot be responsible for direct or indirect damages that may occur to the client or his guests during the stay in the accommodation, and this including injuries or losses because of fire, theft or other criminal behaviors. Best Paris Rentals cannot be liable for potential delays, accidents, losses, change of schedule or rates, damages.
The Best Paris Rentals liabilities are only limited to refund the prepayment amount for the booked accommodation. Any complaints must be directed to the owner during the stay. The accommodation’s information and content are approved and provided by the owner. Nevertheless, Best Paris Rentals verify and update the information for time to time. Best Paris Rentals helps to improve and guarantee the suitability of any accommodation and/service advertised on its website. But Best Paris Rentals cannot be liable for its content.
